For EU brands — made in China. We are a Dongguan cut-and-sew factory, not an EU producer. Under the EU General Product Safety Regulation, a product made outside the EU needs an EU-based economic operator named on it — that is your company or your representative, and we print it.

Terms on one screen

EU terms — the same factory terms, more documentation.

Labels & packaging

What EU buyers expect on the label and in the carton.

EU labelling is harmonised but multilingual, and EU authorities increasingly check claims, not just labels.

Requirement
What it means on the garment
Who owns it
Fibre names
Regulation (EU) 1007/2011 names: 81% Polyamide, 19% Elastane — in the language(s) of each member state where you sell. A trademark like Lycra® may sit next to the generic name, never replace it.
We draft · you approve
GPSR operator
Manufacturer details plus your EU responsible economic operator (name, postal and electronic address) on the product, packaging or accompanying document.
You supply
Care symbols
GINETEX / ISO 3758 symbols, the European norm.
We propose · you approve
Batch / type ID
A style and batch reference on the label so a product can be traced — GPSR expects it.
We apply
REACH
Restricted substances in fabrics, prints and metal trims (e.g. nickel release on hardware). Third-party tests booked on request.
Lab tests on request
Recycled claims
Our GRS licence D26089-G4 covers packaging & accessories. A recycled garment claim needs the mill's transaction certificate per lot — we do not print it without one.
Documented or dropped
Packaging EPR
France (Triman + sorting info), Germany (LUCID registration) and other EPR schemes sit with the brand that places goods on the market; we supply packaging materials and weights per SKU.
We supply data
Digital product data
EU textile product-passport rules are still being drafted. Composition, mill and lot data per PO are kept so you can answer them when they arrive.
Data kept per PO

We publish no duty or VAT figures — your EU customs representative owns classification and rates. We supply composition, construction and weight per style (knitted activewear sits in chapter 61).

Samples & PPS

Proto proves the design. PPS proves the production.

European buyers usually sign two documents, not one: the fit-approved proto and a PPS with the label set for every target language.

  1. Brief — images, sketch, tech pack or a library link
  2. Fabric & hand named before colours multiply
  3. Proto sample — 7–9 working days, US$50–100 per garment piece
  4. Written fit notes — POMs, opacity, labels, trims
  5. PPS — size set, labels and pack-out on the real bulk fabric
  6. Bulk — inline 20/50/80% · final inspection · ship

MOQ

Minimums per colour — the same ladder for every market.

EU brands with sustainability positioning hit the fabric gate before the garment gate. Recycled or custom yarns are mill lots.

150Standard MOQ — pcs per style per colour. Each colour carries its own 150.
From 100Selected library trial — selected library styles only, subject to fabric availability and production feasibility.
Below 100Subject to feasibility and a small-order surcharge (+15% scattered-cut & generation fees, confirmed in writing).
500–1300 m+Custom fabric per colour at the mill (MCQ). A separate gate from the garment MOQ.

Library colours stay on the 150 / trial-100 ladder. A recycled or custom-dyed base is a mill order, typically 500–1300 m+ per colour, plus ~15–20 days before cutting. Sustainable fabric options →

Factory evidence

Check us before you brief us.

Everything below can be verified without talking to sales: the legal entity, the certificate numbers at the issuer, and the floor itself.

What you can check
Legal entity
DONGGUAN ZIESHINE APPAREL CO.,LTD. (东莞市志尚时装有限公司) · USCC 91441900MAEBFBD31K · founded 2015 · Humen Town, Dongguan, Guangdong. Same legal person on the PI, the commercial invoice and the certificates.
What we own
Sampling, cutting, sewing, inspection and packing on our Dongguan floor — 200+ people, ~200,000 pcs / month installed capacity. Knitting and dyeing sit with long-term specialist mills; we say that plainly.
Certificates

Quality gates
Inline checks at 20 / 50 / 80% of bulk. Final random inspection on an agreed AQL plan (ISO 2859-1 / ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 framework, General Inspection Level II as the usual starting point); acceptance levels are written into your QC protocol. SGS, QIMA, BV or your own inspector are welcome.
Payment tied to gates
30% after PPS approval · 70% after final inspection. T/T; L/C on request. You pay the balance after the goods pass, not before they are cut.

Anonymised programmes

How programmes like yours actually run.

We do not publish client names, sell-through or inspection scores. These are reconstructions of programmes by buyer type, using only ZIESHINE terms.

Bikini hardware and wet opacity decide the reorder; the dry photo does not. A bikini set is two pieces for sample fee and MOQ, and bulk runs 30–40 days after PPS. Read the full reconstruction →

GRS is a mill scope and a transaction certificate, not a default tick on the library. The recycled path is marked before the proto, the wet test still applies, and the certificate is matched at fabric lock — after PPS is too late. Read the reconstruction →

EU buyer FAQ

What EU brands ask before they brief.

Are you an EU manufacturer?

No. We manufacture in Dongguan, China, for EU brands. Under GPSR, your company or your EU representative is the responsible economic operator named on the product; we print those details on the label set.

Do you print multilingual fibre labels?

Yes. Fibre names follow Regulation (EU) 1007/2011 — polyamide, elastane — in each language you specify, approved by you on the proto.

Can you ship DDP into the EU?

Yes, on request, to one EU entry point with duty and import VAT as agreed in writing. FOB Shenzhen remains the default term.

Is every garment GRS-certified?

No. Our GRS licence D26089-G4 covers packaging and accessories. Recycled garment fibre is documented per lot with the mill's transaction certificate; without it, we do not print the claim.

Do you test for REACH restricted substances?

Third-party tests (SGS, Intertek, BV) are booked on request for fabrics, prints and metal trims; the cost sits with the programme. Our OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate BJ015 235965 can be verified at the issuer.

What MOQ applies to EU brands?

The same as everywhere: 150 pcs per style per colour, selected library trial from 100. Custom or recycled fabric is a mill lot, typically 500–1300 m+ per colour.

Do you have German, French or Spanish pages?

Yes. This page is also available in German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. You can brief us in those languages; the export desk usually replies in English, and quotes, PIs, specs and inspection reports are issued in English, the language of record.

Can we audit the factory?

Yes. amfori BSCI 156-026029-000 and ISO 9001:2015 are verifiable; visits to Dongguan and third-party inspections are welcome.

Brief an EU activewear programme.
