Development notes for Padded Cross-Back Yoga Tank

Questions that belong to this library block — fabric, construction and programme gates. Factory identity stays on the manufacturer desks, not on every SKU.

Construction

Are the cups removable, and can we drop padding?

Most library bras use a pocketed or fixed pad map written on the block. Removable pads, shelf-only, or a denser shock cup are proto options. Dropping pads on a plunge or open-back can change opacity — we check that on the lightest colour before PPS.

Does an open back change the bra map or strap hardware?

Yes. Open-back and cross-back blocks move load into the strap and shelf. We confirm strap width, slider type and bust containment on proto — a racer conversion is a new strap map, not a line-side snip.

Fabric & marks

What fabric weight is recommended for this style?

Yoga Top is locked on PowerForm™ 215 — 81% Nylon 66 / 19% Lycra® spandex · 215 g/m². PowerForm™ 215 is the opacity-first yoga / studio default. On a pale dye such as Cream Apricot, dropping to AirTouch™ ~195 changes hand and squat/reach coverage. 260–280 GSM knit terry is not a named yoga or tennis base. GSM is locked on the proto — a heavier mill brief does not sit on this block without a new hand-off.

Programme gates

What changes affect the MOQ on this style?

Standard garment MOQ stays 150 pcs per style per colour. Selected library trial from 100 is not automatic — fabric availability and this construction must clear first. What does move the number: extra colourways, exclusive mill dye, a new cup/liner map, or a custom fabric (typically 500–1300 m+ / colour). Petite/tall lengths add markers, not a second MOQ, unless they become a separate style code.

How is opacity checked before bulk?

On the lightest approved colourway: dry stretch, then a squat / raise-arm photo against a dark underlayer. Swim adds a wet check. We record the result on the proto sheet — not as a marketing adjective. If PowerForm™ 215 fails on Cream Apricot, we change colour, lining or base; we do not ‘print it darker’.

What actually changes the sample fee inside US$50–100?

One published range: US$50–100 per garment piece in 7–9 working days, by construction and fabric complexity. Lower end is a simple library pull; mid is added seams or a set billed per piece; upper is swim hardware, bonding or exclusive mill. A two-piece set is usually two pieces. Sample fees may be credited after the bulk production order is confirmed. Courier is not credited.
