Why incomplete packs lose days

Export desk can start a library recolour from a clear silhouette brief, but a production-intent programme needs measurable inputs. Missing POM, stitch types or artwork placement usually costs a round of clarification before the first proto. Tick the checklist above, then attach files to your enquiry.

What each item unlocks

  • Flat sketches — front / back / detail so pattern and sewing share one silhouette truth.
  • POM + grading — size run and critical measures before PPS; avoids silent fit drift.
  • BOM — fabric base, trims, labels and packaging so costing and lead time are honest.
  • Construction — stitch map, seam types and bonding notes for QC gates.
  • Artwork / colourways — print placement and season colour count vs dye-lot planning.
  • MOQ window — standard garment MOQ is 150 pcs per style and colour; library trial from 100 when the style already exists.
  • Tests — colourfastness, pilling, opacity, UPF or chlorine as your market requires — written into the brief, not assumed.
  • References — competitor links or physical samples accelerate hand matching on named bases.

Commercial path once the pack is clear
